PERFORMANCE REVIEW POLICY

INTRODUCTORY REVIEW (SIX-MONTH REVIEW)

All new/ rehire employees must have an introductory review completed in their six-month of employment. Introductory reviews will be completed by supervisor only.

Successful Introductory Period:

An introductory period is considered successful when an employee review score is 2.8 or above. 

Unsuccessful Introductory Period:

An introductory period is considered unsuccessful when an employee review score is under 2.7. A score of 2.7 and under will require extension of probation period for an additional 90 days and loss of Paid Time Off accrual until after the additional 90-day period. After 90 days, another Introductory review must be completed by the supervisor.  If the second introductory review score is under 2.7, it is cause for termination. 

ANNUAL REVIEWS

All employees must have an annual review completed beginning the calendar year following their introductory review. Annual reviews will have two parts: a self-review and supervisor review.

Anniversary Reviews

All non-exempt part-time employees will have their annual review completed on their anniversary date.  If rehired more than 3 months from termination date, anniversary date will be new rehire date.

Fiscal Year Reviews

All exempt and non-exempt full-time employees will have an annual review completed at the beginning of each Fiscal Year for performance in the previous Fiscal Year.


TRANSFERS

All employees being considered for a transfer in position or program must be in good standing. A review must be completed at time of exit from previous position or program and an employee must have a score of 2.8 or above to be considered for transfer. 

  1. Transfer Introductory Review

When an employee is transferring out of a position or program, a review should be completed on the role they are exiting from within 30 days of transition to new role. A transfer successful introductory period is the same requirements as new hire introductory period.
