Overview

You will need to use your SELA Account to login into any VOA SELA issued desktop or laptop.  If you don’t have a SELA Account, please contact your supervisor and ask them to place a request through the VOA Support Portal.

  • If you are logging into a computer at the following locations, you only need perform the steps from Part 1:
    1. Central Admin Office:                         4152 Canal St
    2. Supportive Services:                          3801 Canal St, Suite 325
    3. Supported Living Services:                3801 Canal St, Suite 220
    4. NorthShore Services:                         823 Carroll St.
    5. Veterans Services:                             1002 Napoleon Ave
    6. Repairs On Wheels:                            1992 Surgi Dr
    7. Children & Family Services:               3939 N. Causeway, Suite 101
    8. Residential Re-Entry Center:             2929 St. Anthony Ave
    9. Fresh Food Factor:                             1746 Tchoupitoulas St
  • If you are logging into a computer that is not listed at one of the locations above, at home, or on public WiFi, you will need to do Part 1 and Part 2.

 

 

Part 1: How To Login To A Computer



Step 1:  If logging on to your VOA SELA issued computer, you should see your name on the Welcome Screen.  If so, simply enter in your password in the password field and press the Enter key

Step 1a:  If you see someone else’s name or a different profile on the Welcome Screen, please click on Other User in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen

Step 1b:  Once clicked, enter in your SELA Account information (username and password) and press Enter.

Part 2: How To Login to the virtual private network (VPN)


Immediately after logging into your computer, you must login to the FortiClient VPN application.  This will make a secure connection to the PrimeCare network.  Also when bringing a desktop or laptop home, you will need to login to the FortiClient VPN applications access your documents, files, and other resources (for example I:Drive)

 

Step 1:  Double click on the FortiClient VPN application

Step 2:  Type in your SELA account username and password, and then press the Connect button

Optional Step:   Your connection is successful when you see the connection information.  You can minimize or exit out the VPN application.
